Letter from the Administrator

Things are heating up outside, but we’re staying cool at Morgan City Health Care Center. Recently, residents have been enjoying snowballs and ice cream sundaes and often at the generosity of our community partners. We are very grateful for partners who lend their time and efforts and who often share their generosity with us. Our community is stronger when we work together, especially when it is to support our older adults.

We recognize June as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Be sure to follow our Facebook page as we work to bring education and awareness to the dreaded Alzheimer’s Disease. MCHCC has a Walk to End Alzheimer’s team that will participate in our Bayou Region Walk this November 9. If you are interested in joining our team, please click the link that will be provided on Facebook or contact our Team Captain, Shawn Verdin. Everyone is welcome, and we would love to have you.

We also recognize our Nursing Assistants in June. Please be sure to thank them for the hard work they do taking care of our residents.

We hope to see you soon!
